Museum of the Bible Korea uses limited, privacy-conscious information to understand how the virtual museum is used, improve its exhibitions, answer visitors well, and measure public outreach.

Anonymous website statistics

Each page view adds one count to an aggregate daily record. The record may include the page, language, approximate country, region and city supplied by Cloudflare, referring website host, and campaign labels such as UTM source, medium and campaign. It contains no persistent visitor ID. Campaign information is remembered only for the current browser-tab session.

AI Museum Guide history

When a visitor asks the AI Museum Guide a question, we privately record the date, museum wing and room, language, question, answer, optional feedback, country, region, referral source and campaign. Approximate city is kept only in aggregate statistics and is not attached to the written conversation.

How the information is used

• Improve historical explanations and guide answers
• Learn which rooms, languages and subjects are most useful
• Measure newsletters, social posts, presentations and partner campaigns
• Plan education, translation, outreach and the long-term physical museum vision

We do not use museum analytics to create individual advertising profiles or sell visitor information. Newsletter, volunteer, sponsor and artifact-inquiry relationships begin only when a person voluntarily contacts or subscribes.

Retention and safeguards

Detailed guide conversations are kept for up to 24 months. Anonymous daily aggregate statistics may be retained for long-term historical comparison. City statistics are withheld from ordinary reports until at least five recorded visits are represented. Access is restricted to authorized museum administration.

Service providers and contact

Cloudflare provides website delivery, approximate network geography and private database services. Anthropic's Claude service generates AI Museum Guide answers.
